What the work actually involves

You'll spend most of your time producing and critiquing the deliverables a revenue org lives on. A typical task set: build a territory and quota design model in a spreadsheet with the carve logic and ramp assumptions visible; write a competitive battlecard with objection-handling language that a rep could use on a live call; assemble a pipeline forecast deck for a leadership review, including the coverage math and the commit/best-case/pipeline splits; draft a GTM launch plan for a new segment; write a win/loss analysis; or propose a compensation plan with accelerators, caps, and SPIFF structure spelled out.

Alongside creation, you'll evaluate model output — reading an AI-generated forecast deck or comp plan and saying precisely where it goes wrong. The valuable judgment here is not "this slide is ugly." It's noticing that the quota model double-counts a segment, that the coverage ratio assumed is unrealistic for the sales cycle described, that the comp plan creates an incentive to sandbag Q4, or that a battlecard's objection response would get a rep laughed off a call. Your rationale is the training signal, so it has to be legible to someone who wasn't in your head.
