The work

You will review sample postal questions for realism, write scoring rubrics, and evaluate AI-generated answers for accuracy, completeness, usefulness, and current guidance. Topics include mail classes, shipping options, postage, fees, shipping labels, package tracking, missing or damaged mail, change of address, mail forwarding, international mailing, and customs forms.

What the screen assesses

micro1 is looking for current, former, or retired USPS frontline staff with at least one year of in-person post office counter experience. Screening is likely to test whether you can distinguish customer-facing USPS practice from adjacent mail-carrier, processing, or private shipping-store experience, explain postal procedures under follow-up, and identify subtle errors or omissions in an answer. Experience with international mail, customs documentation, claims, guides, FAQs, training materials, rural customers, or non-English-speaking communities is useful but not required.

Logistics

This is a remote, short-term contractor project for US-based candidates. Work is asynchronous, requires clear written feedback, and calls for 15-25 hours per week with a quick start.

Pay band: $30–45/hr
