The work

You will review sample questions to determine whether they reflect what national park visitors actually ask. You will also write scoring rubrics for topics such as passes, entrance fees, permits, reservations, park regulations, visitor safety, and trip planning, then use those rubrics to identify errors, omissions, and outdated guidance in AI-generated answers.

What the screening focuses on

micro1 is seeking current, former, or seasonal National Park Service personnel with at least one year of relevant visitor-facing experience. The screening is likely to ask for verifiable examples of answering visitor questions, applying regulations, handling passes or reservations, and communicating safety information. AI experience is not required, but candidates should be able to explain how they distinguish a correct answer from one that is incomplete, misleading, or too general for a particular park.

Logistics

The project is remote, asynchronous, and short term, with a commitment of 15-25 hours per week. Candidates must be US-based, able to start quickly, and comfortable delivering clear written rubrics and feedback without continuous supervision.

Pay band: $30–45/hr
