What the work involves

You'll work through presentation tasks drawn from real B2B marketing workflows. Some days you write the gold-standard deck yourself — a Q3 campaign performance review for a CMO, a launch narrative for a sales kickoff, a budget proposal that has to survive finance. Other days you're given a model-generated deck and asked to judge it: is the story ordered correctly, does the chart actually support the claim on the title bar, would this slide survive a VP asking one hard question? You document what's wrong and why, then produce the corrected version.

The writeup matters as much as the deck. A rating of 3/7 teaches the model nothing; "the exec summary opens with channel tactics before stating the business result, and the funnel chart uses absolute volume where conversion rate is the decision-relevant metric" teaches it a great deal. Expect to spend real time on written rationale.

What the platform screens for

Ethos runs an AI voice screen before any task work. It probes for concrete, checkable history — companies, campaign types, who you presented to, what the deck was asking for. Expect follow-ups that push past the first answer: if you say you built launch decks, you'll be asked how you structured the positioning section and what you cut when the meeting got shortened. Vague seniority claims get unwound quickly. It also tests evaluation judgment — whether you can separate a deck that's ugly from a deck that's wrong, and whether you can articulate a standard rather than a preference.

Logistics

  • Fully remote, asynchronous, no fixed meetings
  • 5–20 hours per week, self-scheduled; higher volume available during active project windows
  • Observed rate for this listing is $70/hour; bands vary by project and are not guaranteed
  • Work is delivered in the platform's task interface, with slide files produced in PowerPoint or equivalent
