What the work involves

You'll be producing reference-quality slide artifacts and grading the model's attempts at the same. A typical batch might ask you to draft a payer value proposition deck for a specialty product, then review three model-generated versions of an HTA committee presentation and explain — in writing, at a level another HEOR professional could act on — why one handles incremental cost-effectiveness framing responsibly and the others overstate. Other tasks cover cost-effectiveness and budget-impact model result slides, pricing and contracting strategy materials, evidence generation plan roadmaps, and payer-facing objection handling.

The judgment being captured is the part that doesn't live in textbooks: what a P&T committee will actually push back on, how much uncertainty belongs on a slide versus in backup, when a tornado diagram helps and when it buries the point, how NICE-style evidence framing differs from an ICER-conscious US payer deck. Written rationale matters as much as the deck itself — the model learns from your reasoning, not just your output.

What the platform screens for

Ethos runs an AI voice screen before any task access. It probes for concrete, verifiable experience: which products or therapy areas, which markets, whether you sat on the manufacturer side or the consultancy side, whether you've been in the room for a payer meeting or an HTA submission rather than adjacent to one. Expect follow-ups that go one layer deeper than your first answer — naming a specific submission, a specific pricing scenario, a specific model structure decision you argued for. Vague seniority claims without specifics are the main failure mode. Slide craft is also directly assessed; "good at PowerPoint" is assumed, and the bar is professional-consultancy finish.
