What the work involves

You write and assess the artefacts consultants actually ship. A task might be: produce a 12-page transformation roadmap for a mid-market manufacturer with realistic workstreams, dependencies and a governance page; or take a model-generated operating model deck and mark where the storyline collapses — action titles that describe the chart instead of asserting a finding, a waterfall whose bridge doesn't reconcile, a benchmarking exhibit citing a peer set that would never survive a partner review. Expect a mix of authoring gold-standard decks, side-by-side comparisons of two model outputs, and written rationales explaining why one deliverable is client-ready and the other isn't.

The rationale is the product. A rating with no reasoning teaches the model nothing; a paragraph naming the specific defect — pyramid principle broken at the second level, so-what missing from three of five action titles, data label inconsistent with the source footnote — is what gets paid for. Reviewers on this kind of programme spend as much time writing the critique as fixing the slide.

What the screen looks for

  • Verifiable tenure: 4+ years at a Big 4 advisory arm or a top strategy practice (Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, Monitor Deloitte, and peers), at senior consultant or manager grade.
  • Storylining fluency under follow-up — can you explain the difference between a horizontal and vertical logic flow without reaching for jargon, and apply it to a deck you actually built?
  • Real PowerPoint craft: exhibit construction, consistent formatting discipline, chart choice matched to the argument.
  • Judgment about when a deck is wrong versus merely different from how you'd have done it. Evaluators who mark everything down for style preference are less useful than those who separate defects from taste.

Logistics

Fully remote, fully asynchronous, no client calls and no fixed hours. Commitment is 5–20 hours per week with room to take more if throughput allows.
