What the work involves

You will research real US public companies and write questions whose answers require careful use of 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statement, earnings release, or investor presentation materials. Day to day, that means locating exact figures, checking footnotes and tables, reconciling reported and adjusted measures, identifying restatements or amendments, and documenting a verified source-backed answer.

What micro1 screens for

The short finance interview focuses on hands-on experience with US SEC filings and familiarity with US GAAP. Relevant experience may come from equity research, investment analysis, investment banking, corporate development, credit or restructuring analysis, SEC reporting, audit, corporate law, or due diligence. Clear written English is required, along with the judgment to distinguish fiscal periods, document versions, and competing definitions of the same metric.

Pay band: $30–85/hr
