The work

You'll produce and evaluate presentation artifacts drawn from the actual equity research workflow: initiation report exhibits, earnings preview and review slides, industry primer decks, thesis one-pagers, valuation summary pages, and marketing decks for investor meetings. Tasks alternate between authoring reference material — a gold-standard comps page, a bridge chart, a thesis slide with the three pillars and the bear case — and grading model output against what a director of research would actually let go out the door. Critiques are written, specific, and tied to a rubric: not "this slide is cluttered," but that the EV/EBITDA multiple is calculated off a diluted share count inconsistent with the adjacent DCF, or that the takeaway title states a fact instead of a conclusion.
