The work
You would design realistic deck and document assignments, create reference deliverables and evaluate AI-generated presentations, publications and infographics. Day-to-day work includes diagnosing grid and hierarchy problems, checking chart accuracy, reviewing slide and PDF construction, and writing feedback that helps research teams improve model performance.
Design and production scope
The role spans PowerPoint and browser-based slide tools, with Keynote considered a plus, as well as Adobe InDesign, Figma and Illustrator. Affinity Publisher is acceptable when it was used for shipped work. Deliverables may include executive summaries, chartbooks, board or investor decks, brand books, brochures and print-ready files, with attention to master slides, styles, baseline grids, bleed, folds, dielines, Pantone and CMYK color, PDF/X export and editable source formats.
What the screen is likely to test
Expect a portfolio walkthrough focused on shipped agency, studio, consultancy, publishing or commercial work rather than student projects or crowd-labeling tasks. The screen will look for verifiable ownership of layout and prepress decisions, the ability to distinguish persuasive information design from polished but misleading output, practical use of generative AI tools, and clear written explanations that can become rubrics or training feedback.
Logistics
This is a W-2 position with Cincinnatus LLC, with potential placement at an AI lab as part of its extended workforce. The stated commitment is at least 40 hours per week during weekdays, effectively full time. The listing does not specify whether the work is remote or how much of it is asynchronous.
