The work

You would help research teams improve generative AI systems for motion design, kinetic typography, animated overlays and code-driven video. Day to day, that means designing realistic evaluation tasks, producing reference deliverables in editable formats and reviewing generated work for timing, easing, hierarchy, tracking, safe areas and audiovisual sync.

Production and evaluation

The role combines senior creative judgment with hands-on technical execution. Expected tools and formats include After Effects expressions, 2.5D parallax, tracked composites, Cinema 4D or Blender, command-line FFmpeg and at least one code-driven animation workflow such as Remotion, HTML5 Canvas, SVG animation, Three.js or WebGL, GSAP, p5.js, TouchDesigner, Houdini or scripted rendering. Working JavaScript or TypeScript, or Python, is required for writing and debugging render or animation code. You may also build rubrics, scripted quality checks and comparison samples using professional generative video or image tools.

What the screen examines

Expect close questioning about shipped client or brand work, the decisions behind a portfolio piece and the architecture of a public code sample. The screen is likely to test whether you can identify plausible-looking but weak motion, explain defects at frame and system level, distinguish subjective taste from measurable failure and propose checks that work across aspect ratios and delivery formats.
