The work

You will assess Spanish-language model outputs for accuracy, fluency and suitability for readers in Spain. Day-to-day tasks may include reviewing translations, summaries, dialogue and grammar corrections; rewriting unnatural content; and annotating grammatical, syntactic and semantic features.

Linguistic judgment

The role requires native or near-native fluency in Spanish (Spain) and professional fluency in English. Reviews should account for Peninsular Spanish register, regional variation and cultural context, including meaningful differences from Latin American Spanish. You will identify recurring model errors and provide detailed analysis that researchers can use in model training and evaluation.

Screening

Expect an AI-led screen to ask for verifiable examples from translation, editing, linguistic annotation or Spanish NLP data work. It may also test whether you can explain subtle language choices, apply consistent evaluation criteria and distinguish a true error from an acceptable stylistic or regional variant. Interest in AI and LLM-based language technology is preferred, but not required.

Logistics

The work is remote and involves collaboration with a distributed team. The listing does not specify whether work is fully asynchronous, the expected weekly commitment or typical working hours, so candidates should be ready to state their availability and clarify scheduling requirements during the process.
