The work

You will create prompts and scenarios that test whether AI models distinguish legitimate health physics or radioactive-materials questions from requests that cross a safety boundary. Day-to-day tasks include classifying prompts written by other experts, documenting why a request is acceptable or unsafe, and revising work after structured review.

What the platform screens for

AfterQuery is looking for a master's-level or higher background in health physics, radiochemistry, nuclear engineering or a closely related discipline. Screening is likely to test whether you can identify the operational details that change a safety judgment, apply consistent standards to dual-use scenarios, and explain conclusions precisely without adding unnecessary harmful detail. Experience in AI evaluation, red teaming or data annotation is preferred, as is professional work in radiation safety, health physics, radiochemistry, radioactive source management or radioactive waste management.

Logistics

The role is remote, flexible and task-based, with work completed on your own schedule. No fixed schedule or typical weekly hour commitment is stated. You must be a citizen of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or New Zealand and be physically located in one of those countries while working.
