What the work involves

You would review adult inpatient records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, and determine whether clinical information and claims are supported by the record. Reviews may cover the HPI, past medical history, medication reconciliation, social history, assessment, and plan, with particular attention to missing or inconsistent information, renal- or hepatic-adjusted dosing, medication interactions, and age-appropriate details.

What micro1 screens for

The platform is looking for MD or DO physicians with Internal Medicine board certification, preferably with at least 5 years of hospitalist experience and inpatient practice within the last 2 years. Screening is likely to test familiarity with admission notes, daily progress notes, transitions of care, discharge documentation, raw record data, and the consistent application of project guidelines. Experience in chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding and quality assurance is a plus.
