The work
You will turn real HR workflows into multi-step evaluation tasks that require judgment rather than simple lookup. Day-to-day work may involve drafting task instructions, building payroll or headcount files, preparing policy documents or employment agreements, and defining what a correct output must contain.
What micro1 screens for
The role-specific AI interview looks for direct ownership of HR operations, not supervisory-only or adjacent exposure. Expect to explain how you have applied policies, managed payroll or workforce processes, reconciled spreadsheets and documents, and created standards that another practitioner could follow. Strong English required (B2 minimum, C1 preferred). HR certification (SHRM, CIPD, PHR or equivalent) and AI or LLM evaluation experience are preferred, not required.
Evaluation judgment
A central part of the role is writing grading criteria that allow two qualified reviewers to reach the same verdict. You will need to distinguish legitimate professional judgment from ambiguity, create realistic supporting materials, and flag tasks that cannot be graded reliably rather than submitting them unchanged.
Logistics
The contract is fully remote and open globally. Work appears task-based and largely asynchronous, with approximately 10 hours expected per task and delivery against agreed schedules and quality requirements. Pay band: $45–90/hr
