What the work involves

You will complete realistic graphic design tasks on your own computer and explain your decisions as you work. Assignments may draw on branding, layout, typography and visual communication, using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity or Canva. The resulting work and narration will become training and evaluation data for AI models.

What the screening covers

Mercor asks for a resume and a brief, three-minute AI interview focused on research and reasoning. Expect questions about specific design projects, your software workflow, how you assess visual quality and why you choose one treatment over another. A brief paid assessment follows for candidates who advance, and a portfolio may help substantiate your experience.

Practical details

The expected commitment is approximately 10-20 hours per week, with an immediate start preferred. You must own a MacBook or Mac with an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor running macOS 15 or higher. The listing does not specify whether the engagement is formally remote or fully asynchronous, so confirm scheduling and collaboration expectations during onboarding.
