The work

This project uses federal acquisition expertise to create realistic contracting scenarios, detailed reference answers, and evaluation materials. Day-to-day tasks may include modeling pre-award and post-award decisions, checking work against current FAR requirements, identifying inaccurate assumptions, and giving precise written feedback on materials prepared by other specialists.

What micro1 screens for

The AI interview assesses whether you have current or previous federal contracting experience, including OPM series GS-1102 or equivalent acquisition experience. Expect follow-up questions about specific procurements, your role in the acquisition lifecycle, how you apply FAR requirements, and how you distinguish a defensible answer from one that merely sounds plausible. Experience developing acquisition scenarios, training materials, or evaluation content is preferred, as is current or previous contracting officer warrant authority and FAC-C or DAWIA contracting certification.

Working format

This is a remote, United States-based independent contractor engagement. Work is part-time, project-based, and collaborative tasks are handled asynchronously with project coordinators and other specialists. The listing does not specify typical weekly hours, project duration, or a fixed schedule, and reliable internet connectivity is required.
