The work

You will review inpatient medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, and determine whether clinical information and claims are supported by the source record. Tasks may cover histories of present illness, past medical histories, assessments, plans, admission records, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge documentation. You will flag missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information, apply project guidelines consistently, and explain findings to the project team.

What the screening is likely to assess

The platform will look for verifiable Family Medicine and hospitalist experience, particularly current or recent inpatient work. Expect detailed follow-ups about hospital workflows, documentation standards, and how you distinguish an unsupported claim from a reasonable clinical inference. Experience in chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding, quality assurance, or care across multiple patient populations may strengthen an application but is listed as preferred rather than required.

Practical details

This is a remote contractor role with output-based compensation. Experts are paid for tasks that meet project specifications, and minimum weekly submission requirements apply. The listing does not specify typical weekly hours or whether work must be completed on a fixed schedule, so candidates should clarify task volume, turnaround expectations, and review windows before accepting work.

Pay band: $80–125/hr
