The work

You will review LLM-generated Arabic for accuracy, fluency, grammar, syntax, meaning and cultural fit. Day-to-day tasks may include evaluating translations and summaries, refining dialogue, correcting or rewriting content, annotating grammatical and semantic features, and documenting recurring model errors or gaps.

What Mercor screens for

Mercor is seeking native or near-native fluency in Arabic, supported by professional experience in Arabic translation, editing, linguistic annotation or NLP data work. Screening is likely to test whether you can distinguish valid variation from genuine error, account for regional usage, explain subtle judgments and apply consistent standards across examples. Interest in AI and LLM language technology is preferred but not required.

Practical details

The work is remote and designed for collaboration with a distributed research team. The listing does not disclose whether scheduling is fully async, the expected weekly commitment or typical working hours, so candidates should be ready to state their availability clearly during screening.
