The work

You will review Japanese text generated by a large language model, judge its accuracy and naturalness, and edit or rewrite weak outputs. Tasks may cover translation, summarization, dialogue and grammar correction, alongside annotation of grammatical, syntactic and semantic features.

What the screen will assess

Expect questions that test native or near-native fluency in Japanese, command of grammar and stylistics, and the ability to explain subtle errors with precise evidence. The screen may also probe professional work in translation, editing, linguistic annotation or NLP data, including how you handle regional variation, register, ambiguity and culturally appropriate usage.

Working arrangements

The project is remote and involves collaboration with AI researchers in a distributed team. The listing does not state typical weekly hours, a fixed schedule or whether all work is asynchronous, so candidates should be ready to clarify availability and turnaround expectations during screening.
