The work

You will analyze tax law scenarios, identify material issues and risks, and review AI-generated analyses, arguments, and documents. Day-to-day tasks include finding legal errors, recognizing missing facts or authorities, assessing the completeness of the reasoning, and writing structured corrections that can improve model outputs.

What screening will assess

Expect verification of your J.D., active bar status, and substantive practice history, followed by detailed questions about matters you have personally handled. The screen is likely to test tax issue-spotting, use of controlling authority, review of legal documents, treatment of uncertainty, and your ability to distinguish a plausible answer from a legally supportable one. Experience with federal or state taxation, tax compliance, tax planning, IRS matters, tax disputes, or complex tax transactions is preferred, and an LL.M. in Taxation is a plus. Excellent written English communication is required.

Working arrangement

This is a remote contractor role for candidates based in the United States only. The listing does not specify whether work is asynchronous, a fixed schedule, project length, or typical weekly hours, so candidates should be ready to state their reliable availability and clarify scheduling expectations before accepting work.
