The work

Depending on your domain background, you may turn engineering drawings and bills of materials into dependency-correct assembly procedures, identify replacement parts from photos and catalogs, interpret production patterns and cutting-room plans, or review annotated image batches against an ontology. Deliverables must be technically accurate, structured for downstream use, and supported by defensible written reasoning.

What the platform screens for

micro1 is looking for practitioners with at least five years of experience in one or more relevant areas: mechanical technical writing, industrial parts or application analysis, production pattern planning, or computer vision annotation quality assurance. Screening is likely to test whether you can cite specific projects, work through ambiguous source material, identify dependencies or fitment constraints, and explain how you reached a quality decision. No prior AI experience is required.

Working arrangement

This is a remote contractor role involving autonomous work, digital submission, and coordination with project staff. The work appears primarily deliverable-based and suited to asynchronous participation, although exact scheduling expectations and typical weekly hours are not disclosed. Candidates should be prepared to meet agreed project timelines and document their reasoning in writing.
