The work

You will review AI-generated responses to clinical psychology scenarios, identify errors in reasoning, ethics, and risk handling, and document what a licensed clinician would do differently. Some contributors will also write realistic clinical vignettes and reference responses.

What the screening covers

AfterQuery is looking for psychologists who can support judgments with clinically specific reasoning rather than broad statements that a response feels unsafe or incomplete. The screen is likely to test your current practice context, approach to risk and safety questions, ability to distinguish serious errors from acceptable clinical variation, and ability to write concise rationales that another psychologist can audit. Clear written English is required.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a PhD or PsyD in psychology from a US institution, hold an active and unencumbered US psychology license, and currently practice in the US. Eligible backgrounds include clinical, counseling, health, or neuropsychology. No minimum number of years in practice is stated, while experience with risk assessment, safety planning, crisis work, clinical documentation, supervision notes, or teaching material is preferred.

Logistics

Pay band: $90/hr

The project is scheduled for three weeks starting this month. Work is remote and fully asynchronous, with no fixed or typical hours stated, and contributors may choose a workload that fits around clinical practice. This is an independent contractor engagement, paid weekly through Stripe, with ID verification, a contractor agreement, and platform onboarding required; the listing states that there is no screen recording, keystroke monitoring, or idle timer.
