What the work involves

You are not managing a program here — you are encoding how a program is managed so a model can be measured against it. Day to day that means building golden assets: a working Gantt model in Sheets or Excel with real dependency logic, a cost/effort rollup that actually reconciles, a RAID log and project charter that would survive a steering committee. Then you turn the reasoning behind those artifacts into deterministic rules — what makes a critical path valid, when a milestone slip should cascade, what a RAG status must be grounded in — so the AI's output can be scored rather than eyeballed.

The other half is audit. You review AI-generated schedules, risk registers, and status reports, score them against the standards you wrote, and document exactly where they fail. The valuable failures are the plausible ones: a plan that looks clean but has a float calculation that's quietly wrong, or a status report that asserts green with no supporting evidence.

What the platform screens for

  • Real delivery experience, not a title. Expect follow-ups on program size, number of workstreams, and how you handled a specific dependency conflict.
  • Spreadsheet fluency under scrutiny. The listing is explicit: you must translate scheduling logic into formulas. Being able to describe a rollup is not the same as being able to build one.
  • Evaluation judgment. Can you articulate why an AI-produced plan is wrong in a way that generalizes into a rule, rather than just fixing it?
  • Certifications — PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile — are preferred, not required, and admin-level familiarity with Smartsheet, MS Project, or Asana is a plus.

Logistics

Fully remote, contractor engagement, stated at up to two weeks with a 40 hours/week commitment and eight hours of daily overlap with PST.
