The work
You will turn complex, real-world engineering programs into structured AI training tasks. Day to day, that means defining technical objectives, requirements, constraints, interfaces, acceptance criteria, dependencies, deliverables, and the responsibilities of mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, manufacturing, or other domain experts.
What micro1 screens for
The screening is likely to focus on specific projects you have led, especially how you handled requirements engineering, interface management, system integration, and verification and validation. You should be prepared to explain decisions from initial requirements through testing and delivery, including how you resolved cross-disciplinary conflicts and judged whether outputs met measurable criteria. Experience with model-based systems engineering, SysML, requirements management tools, or complex sectors such as aerospace, automotive, robotics, industrial systems, and medical devices is preferred rather than required. English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.
Contract logistics
This is a remote contractor role. US-based candidates are preferred, while candidates worldwide are considered when they have strong relevant experience. The listing does not specify typical weekly hours, contract duration, required time-zone overlap, or whether the workflow is fully asynchronous, so candidates should confirm those details during screening.
