The work

You will review adult inpatient medical records, including clinical notes and FHIR data, and determine whether claims are supported by the chart. Typical tasks cover histories of present illness, past medical history, medication reconciliation, social history, assessments, and plans, with attention to missing or conflicting information, medication interactions, age-appropriate details, and renal- or hepatic-adjusted dosing.

What the platform screens for

Screening is likely to focus on verifiable hospitalist experience, Internal Medicine training, recent inpatient practice, and detailed knowledge of admission, progress-note, transition-of-care, and discharge workflows. Expect follow-up questions that test how you distinguish documented evidence from clinical inference, handle discrepancies across record sources, and apply review guidelines consistently. Experience in chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding and quality assurance is a plus.

Logistics and compensation

This is a remote contractor role for candidates in the United States. Compensation is output-based, and payment depends on submitted tasks meeting project specifications; minimum weekly submission requirements apply. The work appears task-based rather than shift-based, but asynchronous scheduling and typical weekly hours are not specified. Pay band: $80–125/hr. This observed band is not guaranteed.
