The work
You will review pediatric emergency department and urgent care charts, compare AI-generated summaries with the source documentation, and assess whether the output is clinically accurate, complete, and useful. Day-to-day tasks include annotating encounter data, identifying hallucinations or omissions, documenting clinical inaccuracies, and explaining documentation gaps in structured written feedback.
Clinical judgment and evaluation
The platform is likely to screen for verifiable pediatric acute-care experience and your ability to reason through cases under follow-up. Strong candidates can distinguish a consequential safety issue from a minor documentation preference, apply detailed annotation guidance consistently, and raise precise questions when an edge case is not covered. Prior AI/ML annotation or model evaluation experience with positive performance reviews is preferred, not required.
Working with guidelines
You may also contribute to annotation guidelines by identifying ambiguous definitions, proposing clinically meaningful distinctions, and explaining how pediatric emergency or urgent care workflows affect the expected documentation. Feedback must be specific enough for engineering and product teams to reproduce the issue and act on it.
Logistics
The role is remote and part-time, with flexible scheduling designed around active clinical practice. Candidates must be US-based and available for a minimum of 10 hours per week through mid-November. The listing does not explicitly confirm that every task or meeting is asynchronous, so candidates should clarify coordination expectations during onboarding. Pay band: $150/hr
