The work

This remote contractor role focuses on statement-by-statement review of marine geology and sedimentology material. Day to day, you may assess AI-generated descriptions of marine lithology, grain size, sedimentary structures, soil and rock layers, offshore sampling procedures and visual core descriptions, then provide corrected wording and a technical rationale.

What the screening is likely to test

The platform will look for verifiable experience with marine or offshore cores and the ability to reason through difficult sediment descriptions under follow-up. Expect questions about logging conventions, grain-size classification, sedimentary structures, disturbed or incomplete cores, sampling artifacts and how you would distinguish an incorrect answer from one that is merely underspecified. Advanced qualifications in Marine Geology, Marine Sedimentology or a closely related discipline are preferred, while prior AI experience is not required.
