The work

You will review medical records, FHIR data and inpatient notes used to train and evaluate AI systems. Day-to-day tasks include checking whether claims are supported by the record, examining HPI, PMH, assessments and care plans for discrepancies or omissions, applying project guidelines consistently, and giving actionable feedback on model performance and data quality.

What the screen is likely to assess

Expect detailed questions about inpatient assessment, diagnosis and hospital workflows, followed by scenarios that test whether you can distinguish an unsupported statement from a clinically reasonable inference. The platform is also likely to verify your MD or DO background, ask for recent examples of inpatient or hospitalist work, and probe any experience in chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding or quality assurance. Board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Hospital Medicine is preferred, as is hands-on inpatient or hospitalist experience within the past 2 years.

Logistics

This is a remote, United States contractor role. The posting does not specify a weekly hour range, scheduling expectations or whether all work is asynchronous, so candidates should confirm those details before accepting a project. The platform shows an observed contractor pay band, not a guarantee:

Pay band: $100–115/hr
