What the work actually is

You will spend most of your time producing and judging presentation artifacts of the kind you built for real deals. A typical task gives you a scenario — a $2M platform renewal at risk, a security-conscious CIO briefing, a QBR where usage is down 30% — plus a model-generated deck, and asks you to score it, mark where it fails, and produce a version a real AE would actually walk into the room with. Other tasks run the opposite direction: you write the gold-standard deck first, and the model is measured against it. Expect to work across pitch decks, executive briefings, ROI and business case slides, proposal decks, QBR materials, and one-page deal reviews.

The hard part is not slide design. It is articulating why a slide fails — that the value prop leads with features instead of the buyer's stated pain, that the ROI math assumes a headcount reduction no CFO will sign off on, that an exec briefing runs 22 slides when the meeting is 15 minutes. Written rationale is a graded output, not a formality. Vague feedback like "needs to be punchier" is the most common reason contributors get cycled off.

What the screen looks for

  • Deals you personally built decks for, at what ACV, to what buyer titles, and what happened
  • Whether you can name specific structural conventions — MEDDIC or Challenger framing, the shape of a business case slide, how an EBC deck differs from a first-call deck
  • Judgment under ambiguity: two decks, both defensible, and you have to pick and defend
  • Real weekly hours, honestly stated

The process includes an AI voice screen. It follows up on whatever you say, so keep claims to things you can immediately elaborate on with numbers and names of roles.

Logistics

Fully remote, fully asynchronous, 5–20 hours per week with room for more when volume allows. No calls with the end client, no quota, no pipeline. Work arrives in batches; throughput is uneven week to week, so a stated floor of five hours you can reliably hit is worth more than an optimistic twenty. Pay is observed at $80/hour and is not guaranteed across all task types or project phases.
