The work

You will complete real-world electronics simulation tasks in Ngspice for an AI training project. Day-to-day work includes designing circuits, configuring SPICE models, running AC, DC and transient analyses, interpreting results, troubleshooting simulation errors and optimizing circuit performance.

What the screening assesses

The platform screens for professional, hands-on Ngspice experience and a sound understanding of analog circuits, electrical components and circuit analysis. Expect questions that require verifiable examples, technically precise explanations and follow-up reasoning about model selection, convergence problems, unexpected waveforms and simulation settings. You may also need to show that you can turn a working engineering process into clear instructions or detailed prompts. English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.

Practical details

This is a remote contractor role. Access to Ngspice and the ability to record your screen while completing tasks are required. The listing does not specify whether scheduling is fully async, the expected weekly hours or the contract duration, so confirm these points with micro1 before accepting work.
