Rebuilding is not tracing: you are expected to improve message hierarchy, sharpen the action title, reconsider whether the exhibit type fits the claim, and tighten content for an executive audience. What the platform screens for

micro1 runs an AI-led interview, and it will push on specifics rather than accept summaries. Expect follow-ups that ask what the slide was for, who was in the room, what decision it was meant to drive, and what you would cut. The screen is looking for:

  • Real operating or advisory time in sales, revenue operations, GTM strategy, business development, commercial strategy, or enablement — roughly three years or more
  • Concrete history building decks for leadership, board, or customer stakeholders, not just contributing slides to someone else's
  • Working fluency in PowerPoint mechanics: master layouts, alignment, chart formatting, consistent typography
  • The vocabulary of structured communication — action titles, message hierarchy, exhibit selection, so-what statements
  • Written argument: can you defend a decision in prose, under challenge, without retreating to taste

Industry operators are explicitly welcomed alongside ex-consultants. AI training experience is a plus and nothing more.
