The work

You will review de-identified patient charts, assess two AI responses to an anesthesiology question and determine which response is stronger. Each decision requires a structured rationale addressing clinical rigor, completeness and clarity, along with explicit identification of errors that could compromise patient safety or depart from current standards of care.

Screening and credentials

Mercor uses a 25-minute conversational interview to examine your training, current practice, independent clinical experience and motivation for doing evaluation work. Expect follow-up questions that test whether you can cite specific clinical considerations, distinguish a dangerous error from a minor omission and support a comparative judgment with chart evidence. Credential verification covers your MD or DO degree, board certification, training, active unrestricted US medical license and current US practice setting.
