The work
You will review de-identified patient charts, assess two AI responses to a cardiology question and determine which response is stronger. Each decision requires a structured rationale addressing clinical accuracy, completeness, clarity and consistency with the chart, plus explicit identification of errors that could put a patient at risk.
What the screening covers
Mercor uses a 25-minute conversational interview to examine your clinical background, post-training experience, current practice and motivation for evaluating health AI. Expect follow-up questions that test whether you can cite specific cases, apply current cardiology standards, distinguish major safety failures from minor omissions and explain a comparative judgment precisely.
Credentials and onboarding
Applicants upload a resume and undergo verification of medical education, residency and fellowship training, board certification, license status and current US practice setting. The role requires an MD or DO, ABIM Cardiovascular Disease board certification through an ABMS member board or the AOA, an active unrestricted US medical license and at least one year of independent practice after training. Three or more years of post-training experience is strongly preferred.
Logistics
The project is remote and hourly, with flexible part-time hours and an immediate start. The listing does not specify a weekly hour commitment or confirm whether every stage of the workflow is asynchronous. Pay band: $350/hr
