What the work actually looks like

You record ordinary life from a head-mounted camera: cooking, commuting, shopping, repairs, sports, errands, group activities. In the first phase you use your own smartphone on a head strap so collection can start immediately; once company-provided Insta360 X-series hardware arrives, you switch to 360 capture and a revised workflow. A typical session means scouting an approved location, checking framing and record settings, capturing usable continuous footage, then transferring INSV files, reframing and exporting in Insta360 Studio to the spec sheet, and uploading with the required metadata.

The half of the job people underestimate is paperwork and privacy. Public, commercial, and outdoor settings mean bystanders, venue permission, and written consent from anyone who appears in a group recording. Footage that violates consent rules is unusable no matter how good it looks, and mislabeled or metadata-incomplete uploads get bounced back.
