The work

You will write iOS questions and case studies, evaluate AI-generated solutions and provide detailed technical feedback. Scenarios may cover UIKit, SwiftUI, state management, networking, data persistence, memory management, app lifecycle, debugging and mobile architecture. You will also work with other technical experts to calibrate difficulty and keep tasks realistic and educational.

What AfterQuery screens for

Swift is required, along with proven iOS application development experience and knowledge of the iOS SDK. Expect the screening to probe concrete implementation decisions, including UIKit or SwiftUI behavior, architecture patterns, Combine, async/await, Core Data, debugging and performance. Published App Store work, open source contributions, technical writing and experience integrating AI or machine learning into iOS applications are preferred rather than stated requirements.

Logistics

The role is remote, asynchronous and designed for flexible scheduling. No typical weekly hours are stated, so candidates should be ready to describe realistic availability and how consistently they can complete review or challenge-writing work. Pay band: $70/hr
