What the work involves

This is a single-owner build, not a seat on a large platform team. You take a written design and ship it: the endpoint capture path (env-var/.bashrc bootstrapping on developer machines, OTLP export), an OpenTelemetry collector pipeline configured receivers → processors → exporters, an Azure ingestion tier, and a privacy scrub stage that must run before any human reviewer sees a trace. Downstream you wire the sanitized stores and a read-only viewer with task↔session↔trace correlation so reviewers can move from a task record to the spans that produced it.

The privacy block is the load-bearing part. Copilot CLI traces carry prompts, file paths, shell fragments, and occasionally credentials, so the scrub layer combines regex patterns, entropy heuristics for high-entropy secrets, and redaction or tokenization that preserves enough structure for the data to stay analytically useful. Everything sits inside normal Azure security practice — Key Vault, Entra ID, RBAC, private networking, audit trails — and you are expected to treat a leak path as a defect, not a backlog item.

What the screen looks for

Turing runs one roughly 30-minute technical and cultural conversation. Expect it to move fast through specifics: which OTLP transport you used and why, how you configured a collector processor chain, which Azure PaaS services you have actually deployed (Container Apps or AKS, API Management, ADX/Kusto or App Insights, ADLS Gen2/Blob), and how you have handled secret detection in a real pipeline. Claims that cannot survive a follow-up question about configuration detail or failure behaviour are the usual filter. Comparable experience on AWS or GCP is accepted where the transfer to Azure PaaS is clear and you can say concretely what you'd map to what.
