The work
You will translate real-world objects and instruments into simulation-ready 3D assets and environments using Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, Unity, Unreal, PyBullet or a comparable platform. Day-to-day work may include matching geometry, scale and materials, configuring collisions and joints, tuning mass and friction, modeling sensor behavior and investigating gaps between simulated and observed results.
What the platform screens for
The screening is likely to focus on concrete simulation projects and the decisions behind them. Be prepared to identify the tools you used, explain how you obtained or estimated physical parameters, describe validation against real-world behavior and discuss how you worked with scientists or subject-matter experts. Prior AI experience is not required.
Working arrangement
This is a remote contractor role. The listing does not state whether work is primarily asynchronous, which time zones must be covered, or the expected weekly hours, so candidates should confirm those details during the process.
Pay band: $60–150/hr
