The work

You will export the complete transaction history from your own U.S. retail brokerage account, remove personal identifiers and upload the record without omitting trades. The history must cover at least 24 months and at least 1,000 trades, primarily involving stocks or options rather than crypto or futures.

You will write a 100 to 250 word overview of your strategy, typical holding period, instruments and trading platforms. You will also annotate at least five significant trades, with stocks preferred, identifying the symbol, date, side and quantity exactly as they appear in the uploaded history. Each annotation should explain what informed the entry or exit at the time, while keeping later reflections separate from the original reasoning.

Mercor screens for a verifiable match between your account history and your written examples, specific explanations of trading decisions and a clear distinction between contemporaneous reasoning and hindsight. Your education and professional background are not screening requirements. Professional traders may participate only with a personal account they own, not an employer, managed or prop-firm account.

This is a one-time, remote and asynchronous task for participants located in the United States. The writing portion takes up to about 1.5 hours, while export, review and redaction time depends on the brokerage record. Completion requires the full upload, all required annotations and acceptance of Mercor's Expert Content License Agreement.
