The output that matters is not the final number but the reasoning trace: the intermediate steps, the stated assumptions, the reason a plausible alternative answer is wrong. Typical tasks include prompting a model on a problem you have designed, spotting where its chain of reasoning breaks, and writing the corrected derivation in prose clear enough that a reviewer with no context can follow it. Some tasks are data-analysis flavoured (which location grew most, and over which time window), others are pure constraint logic (ordering, scheduling, who-sits-where).
