The work

You will listen to Portuguese audio clips and assess whether the speech sounds native, fluent and linguistically authentic. Reviews cover pronunciation, intonation and other relevant language features, with each decision supported by a concise written justification in English.

What the screening covers

The screening is likely to test whether you can distinguish genuine pronunciation or fluency issues from valid Brazilian Portuguese variation, explain subtle audio evidence and apply evaluation criteria consistently. The preferred qualifications name native-level proficiency in Portuguese, minimum B2 level proficiency in English, and a background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering or a related field. Experience in audio analysis, transcription or linguistic assessment is highly valued, while familiarity with media, communications or teaching is considered an asset.

Logistics

This is a remote contractor role. Reviewers are expected to complete assigned audio tasks accurately and on time, and to consult project coordinators when guidelines or language content are ambiguous. The listing does not state typical weekly hours, project duration, a fixed schedule or whether all work is asynchronous.
