What the work involves
Phase one is not a task in the usual sense — there is no writing, rating, or rubric. You complete a consent form authorizing a research organization to access your personal ChatGPT history, follow the linking instructions provided, supply the email tied to your personal ChatGPT account, and self-verify that the account meets the stated criteria. It is a single deliverable, done once. Phase two, if you are invited, is ongoing project work on the same program and is scoped separately from the data-sharing step; the $50/hr band observed on this listing attaches to that project work rather than to the one-time submission.
What the platform screens for
The screen is mostly about whether your account is genuinely what the program needs, and whether you understand what you are consenting to. Expect questions on residency and schooling in Mexico, whether Spanish is your native language, whether your conversations are predominantly in Spanish, how long you have had the account, roughly how many conversations you have had in the last nine months, and whether you have at least one saved memory. The account must be personal — work, employer, and enterprise accounts are out of scope, as is any account containing proprietary or confidential material. Applicants who hedge, guess at numbers, or describe an account they share with a team tend not to progress.
Logistics
- Fully remote, but location-gated: you must be based in Mexico.
- The application contains a required in-app step, the ChatGPT Power User Interest Form. There is no external link. Submissions missing it are not reviewed.
- Phase one takes well under an hour of actual effort; verification by the research organization can take up to two weeks.
- Phase two hours, if extended, are asynchronous and project-dependent — treat nothing as guaranteed until you receive that invitation.
