The work

You will review sample Medicare questions, identify wording that does not reflect how beneficiaries actually ask for help, and write rubrics defining correct and complete answers. Core topics include initial enrollment, special enrollment periods, Part B late penalties, Social Security enrollment, Medigap, Medicare Advantage, Part D, employer size, primary and secondary coverage, COBRA, and creditable coverage.

What micro1 screens for

The screening is likely to test whether you can explain Medicare rules precisely, recognize when an answer depends on missing facts, and distinguish a consequential error from a minor omission. Relevant experience must come from SSA Medicare enrollment work or employer benefits or HR work advising employees on Medicare. Experience with IRMAA, working while enrolled, HSA rules, training materials, rural beneficiaries, or non-English-speaking clients is helpful but not required.

Logistics

This is a remote, short-term contractor project for US-based specialists. The expected commitment is 20-30 hours per week, with asynchronous written review and feedback, and applicants must be able to start quickly.

Pay band: $40–60/hr
