The work

You will complete real-world 2D drafting tasks in LibreCAD, including floor plans, mechanical drawings and engineering diagrams. Day-to-day work may involve creating or modifying drawings, organizing layers and blocks, applying dimensions and annotations, troubleshooting drawing issues and checking the final result for accuracy.

What the screening measures

The platform is likely to test whether you can describe specific LibreCAD projects, make sound drafting decisions and defend those decisions under follow-up. Expect to demonstrate how you interpret a brief, manage layers and dimensions, diagnose errors and turn an expert workflow into reproducible, step-by-step instructions or prompts.

Relevant background

Strong professional hands-on LibreCAD experience and professional work in engineering, architecture or technical drafting are preferred. Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D CAD software, along with previous Human Data work such as data annotation, RLHF or AI model evaluation, is also preferred. A relevant master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or a related field is preferred. English proficiency at B2 level or higher is preferred.

Logistics

This is a remote contractor role requiring access to LibreCAD and the ability to record your screen while completing tasks. The listing does not specify whether assignments are asynchronous, whether fixed working hours apply or how many hours are typically available, so confirm cadence and workload with the platform.
