You receive a legal or technical prompt and two or more AI-generated responses. Your job is to rank them, assign quality scores against a rubric the project supplies, and write a rationale that a reviewer who never saw the prompt could follow. Most tasks turn on the same question a senior associate asks of a junior's draft: is this precise, is it qualified where it needs to be, is it pitched at the right reader, and is anything here stated with more confidence than the support allows? Overstatement, invented authority, misused terms of art, and jurisdictional sloppiness are the failure modes you are being paid to catch.

The rationale is the deliverable, not a formality. "Response B is better" earns nothing; "Response B correctly flags that the limitation period is jurisdiction-dependent and declines to state a figure, while Response A gives a single number with no jurisdiction attached" is the output the project consumes. Expect your first batches to be sampled against gold-standard answers, and expect calibration notes from reviewers that you are meant to apply to subsequent work rather than argue with.

What the screen looks for

micro1 runs an AI-led interview before any task work. It probes your drafting history in concrete terms — what documents, in what practice area, for what forum — and then pushes on depth: it will ask follow-ups inside whatever area you claim. Supervision experience matters here more than seniority, because reviewing and correcting junior legal writing is structurally the same task. You will also be tested on judgment: given a plausible-sounding but unsupported passage, can you name precisely what is wrong with it rather than gesturing at "it's not quite right"?
