The work

You will review answers produced by enterprise search and workplace AI tools on HR topics within your area of practice. Day to day, that means checking whether an answer is supported by the cited source, whether the source is current and authoritative, whether access permissions were respected, and whether a poor result came from retrieval or reasoning. You may also need to reconcile stale or conflicting policy pages, help-center articles, FAQs, and system content.

What the screening emphasizes

Mercor is looking for at least five years of active HR practice and current work in HR, People Ops, Payroll, or HR Systems at a technology company. The screen is likely to test specific examples from your HR domain, hands-on use of Workday HCM, and regular use of an enterprise search or workplace AI assistant. It will also probe whether you can make defensible grading decisions when sources conflict, citations are incomplete, or an answer exposes information the user should not be able to access.
