The work

You will conduct or assess structured elicitation and interview sessions, adapt questions in response to verbal and behavioral cues, and evaluate the consistency, reliability and possible evasiveness of answers. Day-to-day tasks may include annotating emotional or motivational drivers, assigning confidence assessments and documenting why a particular interpretation is supported by the interaction.

What micro1 screens for

The screening is likely to emphasize specific experience in HUMINT, law-enforcement interviewing, skilled negotiation or other complex interviewing settings. Expect follow-up on recognized methods such as the PEACE model or cognitive interviewing, how you distinguish observation from inference, and how you justify judgments about tone, pacing, hesitation or gestures. Strong written English is preferred, particularly writing that is clear, precise and defensible. Prior AI experience is not required, although data annotation, model evaluation or after-action report writing is preferred.

This is a remote contractor role with a commitment of at least approximately 15 hours per week, and US-based candidates are preferred.
