The work

You will produce digital illustrations, layouts, and other graphic assets for an AI training project. Day-to-day tasks may include following brand standards, critiquing existing materials, documenting design decisions, organizing source files, and revising work through feedback cycles.

What the platform screens for

micro1 is looking for evidence of advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent tools, supported by a portfolio of digital, print, and/or branding work. Screening may also examine how you apply visual hierarchy, storytelling, current design practices, and user-centered principles when requirements are incomplete or competing.

Evaluation and collaboration

The role requires more than producing polished visuals. You should be able to identify specific weaknesses in a design, recommend actionable changes, explain the rationale behind those changes, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders in writing and conversation. Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data-driven design workflows is preferred, but not required.

Practical details

This is a remote contractor role. Production and documentation are likely to be handled largely asynchronously, with written and verbal collaboration required during reviews and handoffs. The listing does not specify typical weekly hours or a fixed schedule, so candidates should confirm workload and availability expectations during onboarding.
