The work

This remote contractor role centers on creating small game projects or interactive scenes that can serve as reliable AI assessment tasks. Day to day, you may introduce gameplay bugs that require visual investigation, design feature requests spanning several systems, implement reference fixes, and test each task from initial instructions through completion.

Task design

Each assignment needs a concise brief written in the voice of a player, designer, or producer. You will define input sequences, expected visual results, and verifiable in-game states, then conduct end-to-end playtesting to confirm that the challenge is reproducible, solvable, and supported by a complete reference solution.

Screening focus

The platform is likely to verify your contribution to real game projects, depth in an engine, debugging process, and judgment when defining acceptable solutions. Advanced proficiency in at least one of Unity, Godot, or Unreal is preferred. Comfort with engine scripting languages such as C#, GDScript, C++, or Blueprints is also preferred. A portfolio or published work can help substantiate experience from AAA, indie, solo, serious hobby, or game jam development. Prior AI experience is not required.

Logistics

The engagement is remote and structured as contractor work. The listing does not state typical weekly hours, scheduling overlap, or whether all work is asynchronous, so candidates should confirm these details during screening and provide realistic availability. This is the observed platform band, not a guaranteed offer.

Pay band: $25–70/hr
