The work

This is a review-only seat. Tasks already exist; your job is to decide whether each one belongs in a training set. That means checking the finance in the answer (does the DCF actually discount at the right rate, is the accrual booked in the right period, does the ratio use the stated denominator), checking whether the question is well-posed and unambiguous, and checking whether the reasoning shown gets to the right answer for the right reasons rather than by coincidence. Expect a spread across corporate finance, valuation, financial statements and accounting treatment, markets and instruments, and applied analysis — you will be asked to navigate topics outside your narrowest specialism, so breadth matters as much as depth. Written justifications accompany your ratings; terse or unfalsifiable comments are the main reason reviewers get filtered out of projects like this.

What the platform screens for

Turing's process is a Job Interest Form, a Finance Expert Assessment you must pass, then profile screening. The assessment is the real gate — it tests whether you can spot a subtly wrong number or an unsound chain of reasoning, not whether you can define WACC. Screening conversations probe for concrete practitioner history (what you analysed, under which standard, for whom), calibration in how you rate borderline items, and willingness to flag ambiguity instead of silently picking a side. Prior annotation or QA experience is a plus, not a requirement; demonstrated finance judgment is the requirement.

Logistics

  • Remote, contract engagement scoped at 4 weeks with possible extension
  • 40 hours per week, including 4 hours of daily overlap with PST
  • Immediate start expected — this is not a pipeline listing
  • Pay band undisclosed by the platform; Turing typically sets rates per project and per expert, so treat any figure you hear as observed rather than guaranteed

The overlap requirement is a genuine constraint. Reviewers on these projects sit in calibration threads and get rubric updates mid-project, and the 4-hour window is where that happens.
