Work

You will listen to English audio clips, assess speaker or model output against established guidelines, and document the linguistic evidence behind each rating. Reviews cover fluency, pronunciation, intonation, naturalness, and authenticity, with occasional coordination when a clip or guideline is ambiguous.

Screening focus

The platform is likely to test whether you can identify specific audio features, separate accent variation from genuine fluency or pronunciation issues, and support a rating with concise evidence. Expect follow-up questions about prior voice, linguistics, phonetics, audio engineering, transcription, assessment, media, communications, or teaching work.

Language and experience

The listing requires a native English speaker based in the United States, native-level proficiency in English with clear enunciation and natural fluency, and a minimum B2 level of English for written and verbal communication. A background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or a related field is preferred; audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment experience is highly valued, while familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is considered an asset.

Logistics

This is a remote contractor role involving assigned audio review tasks and communication with project coordinators. The listing does not state whether work is fully asynchronous or specify typical weekly hours, so candidates should be ready to describe their actual availability and turnaround capacity.
